I was skeptical about this, but I've been using it on my heels where I tend to get blisters when running and I haven't gotten any since I started applying. I also tried using it before a night out when I was wearing shoes that tend to chafe my feet and I had no issues, even after I did a bunch of walking.I don't typically have issues with my clothing chafing while running, but I can certainly see how this would help if I did.

So in rating and reviewing this item, I'm looking at the effectiveness of the product. I used it all week and especially used it on my 10 mile training long run for my marathon and I can report there was no issue with chafing on my chest or anywhere else on my body. At the end of the day, this is a big consideration whether the product should be used or not.What I didn't like is that it's messier than I would've liked. It's hard to explain it's texture, but it's a "spreadable chalk"? I've used other anti-chafing products on the market, and the one I use all the time looks like a deodorant and it spreads as such. However, this product leaves clumps of the balm, and what I had to do is spread it with my finger to make sure it's even over the region I want to protect. I wanted to give this item a 4.5 stars, and since it's effective for it's purpose, I rounded up to 5 stars.It comes packaged well and has a protective plastic piece preventing any of the balm to spill out before using.

I used this while on vacation in a hot climate after experiencing some chafing from ill-fitting pants. It seriously helped to relief the irritation, lessened the redness and prevented further issues. So much so that I ended up using it several times in anticipation of potential chafing and redness, which ultimately did not happen thanks to this stick. It is compact and easy to toss in my suitcase or carry-on. Much appreciated!

The 55 Miles All Sport Anti-Chafe & Blister Prevention Balm/Salve comes in a small, round container that looks similar to deodorant or other roll-on type product.When I first opened it, I had trouble understanding - there is a clear hard plastic cap inside that seemed impossible to remove - until turning the bottom of the container to force out some of the stick which forced this plastic up. Even then, it was like a pasty almost cookie dough consistency that had a bunch of product sticking to the plastic cap, and overall looking like a mess. The actual product works really well as intended, not so sure that this roll-on stick method is the best way to package it - can't really roll it on. I think it would be better in just a squeeze tube or some other method. The important part though is the product is really good, does what is says, and there is a way to get it on and use it from its container, so overall quite happy with this and well worth using.

I ordered and received the 55 Miles Store's All Sport Anti-Chafe & Blister Prevention Balm/Salve, 1.5 oz. This anti chafe and blister prevention balm/salve is in a convenient deodorant style container in that you turn the bottom of the container to advance or retract the balm. I like that the balm is made from all natural ingredients. The names of the ingredients are all ones that I am familiar with. I found the balm was too hard, making it difficult to apply. However, It worked really well. I went on a long 8 mile run and had no chafing where I applied it.
